Common questions

My subscription isn't recognised. What do I do?

Open the subscription screen in Unlooped and tap Restore Purchases. Subscriptions are tied to your Apple Account and can be managed or cancelled any time in your Apple Account settings — Unlooped can't cancel them for you.

Is my data synced? Where is it stored?

New captures are saved on your iPhone first, so capture works offline. When you're online, data syncs over encrypted HTTPS to our service on Cloudflare under an anonymous identity. A quiet sync status in Settings shows whether changes are synced, pending, offline, or need attention.

Do I need an account or email address?

No. Unlooped creates a random, anonymous identity for sync. No email, name, or profile is required — which also means we can't look your data up by email, so use Export if you're switching devices manually.

How do I export my data or delete my account?

Both live in the app under Settings. Export produces a Markdown file of your loops. Delete Account removes server-held data; deleting the app removes local data from that device. Details are in the privacy policy.

Notifications aren't showing up

Check that notifications are enabled for Unlooped in iOS Settings, and that a reminder time is set on the loop. Unlooped uses generic lock-screen wording by default, so a reminder may be more discreet than you expect.

Subscriptions use Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.
